The Old Man and the Sea kept reminding me of a book we had to read for freshman year's honors english. The book I am talking about is the Life of Pi. They are both out at sea and they both are dealing with animals. Life of Pi is more of symbolism though, while the Old Man and the sea is mostly about morals. I am not sure why I kept thinking of this book because I have forgotten all about the Life of Pi and I remembered it when I read this. They were both okay books, but I would have not picked either of them up if I was reading for leisure. I am really glad that I am done with my blogs and I feel very accomplished and proud of myself because I thought I would never be done. :)
