Lessons from Old Man and the Sea

The main and only lesson I noticed in this book was that hard work may not be seen by others, but it should still be just as important to a person. It should keep a person happy knowing that they accomplished something. The old man was very disappointed that no one saw what he worked so hard for. I think this is a great lesson because self-accomplishment is just as important as people noticing your hard work.
