family

This book gave a valuable lesson on family. It stressed how much people need their families in order to continue life. Without the Joads being together, survival would have been next to impossible. They split up little by little from each other and by the end when less than half of them were together, life got to be unbearable. They may not have had a lot of money or food, or even a nice place to live, but they had each other to get through the hard times. I think this is an important lesson because a lot of people leave their families because of simple fights or altercations, but family is forever and people should stick together.
