Grapes of Wrath setting
Grapes of Wrath had several settings. Uncle John's home was one of the first. It was small and cozy and the whole family was there living. It was very cramped, but it was very upsetting to leave. The next setting is on the highway ( route 66 ). It is a long stretch of road with a few places along the side of the road. They are in their car, which is another setting. It is very cramped with the whole family inside with all their things too. The next setting is a cmap in California. It is a camp in California. It is spacious and contains a lot of families and tents. The last setting is a boxcar. It is shaved with another family, and they all must squeeze inside. The Grapes of Wrath is set during the depressin era, which is the 30's.
