Chapter 11
This chapter was about the houses falling apart. Because there is no one to maintain them and keep them looking good. It also talks about the people that run the tractors and how they don't love the land and they just do their job and leave while the other people that lived their made their land their lives
Chapter 12
This chapter is about highway 66. It tells of how nerve racking it is to drive along that road worried sick about something in the car breaking. It tells how the service stations would Jack up the prices because they knew the people needed their stuff. I think this would be a horrible situation to be in constantly worried about the car and money and repairs.
